Child of God Preschool has 9 staff members. We have two teachers in each classroom. Our teachers must meet all of the state licensing requirements including a background check, and provide references before they are hired.
Our staff are required to obtain training in CPR, Child Abuse Recognition, Communicable Disease Recognition, and First Aid within the first 9 months of working at our preschool. They must also obtain at least 10 hours of training per year in child development topics.
We are pleased to announce that we have several staff members who have received a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and several more staff are working towards attaining that credential.
