Child of God Preschool has 9 staff members. We have two teachers in each classroom. Our teachers must meet all of the state licensing requirements including a background check, and provide references before they are hired.
Our staff are required to obtain training in CPR, Child Abuse Recognition, Communicable Disease Recognition, and First Aid within the first 9 months of working at our preschool. They must also obtain at least 10 hours of training per year in child development topics.
We are pleased to announce that we have 1 staff member who has received a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and several more staff are working towards attaining that credential.
